Just finished watching the main event(thank God for DVRs,sky point), excellent fight. Ref should have let the guy try to get up. He was beat but at least let the man get to his feet if he is able and then make the call.

Ultimo,.... remember in either 2011 or 2010, ESPN Boxing had more upsets than any other boxing channel ? In fact I think there are the leaders in broadcasting upsets.

Many an upcoming prospect has been destroyed on ESPN,.. and it's still happening on a regular basis,

    heres a very short list,

    Lundy,
    Davis,
    Sillakh,
    Campbell,
    Garcia,
    Dizinziruk,
    Fernando Guerrero,
    Danny Williams,
    Eric Fields,

the list is huge and goes on and on.

Many up and coming prospects have had to go back to the drawing board. most never to be seen again.

the match makers on ESPN will dredge up some hungry bum or journeyman you never heard of who has the night of his life.

Roast, I kinda agree with you about the ref stopping Maicelo from getting up, but he was gonna end up right back down there if he had gotten up. I hope to see some more of the Russian guy, he definitely has a fan friendly style. Sug, that's what I really like about FNF...its the proving ground for these up and coming fighters.
